  5. SuperNet is a collection of hardware and software that provides a highly
  6. integrated environment for LAN and SNA connectivity. Gateway functions include
  7. support for 3270 emulation (DOS, Windows, UNIX, and third-party clients), SNA
  8. RJE (3776), X.25 Pad, and TCP/IP. Supported network protocols are NetBEUI
  9. (Token Ring), NetBIOS over Novell IPX (Token Ring and Ethernet), and NetBIOS
  10. over TCP/IP. SNA data stream is supported over SDLC, Token Ring (DSN), and QLLC
  11. (X.25). Up to 64 locally attached 3278/9 CUT mode IBM compatible coax terminals
  12. are supported for up to five SNA and UNIX connections

  14. SuperNet SMB File and Print option provides file and print serving to
  15. DOS/Windows-based clients using industry-standard Server Message Block (SMB)
  16. redirectors. Both token ring and Ethernet clients are supported. Integrated
  17. with CUA style configuration, management, and print system utilities. DOS VT220
  18. terminal emulator is included. Support for third-party UNIX terminal emulators
  19. is available. Certified DOS Requester 1.3, Microsoft minses.exe/redir.exe (for
  20. DOS 3.3, 4.x, and 5.0), Micro Computer Systems NetBIOS/IX, FTP Corp. TCP/IP,
  21. Novel NetBIOS, and Novell LAN Workplace for DOS.
